Terrence R. and Barbara Caster

Terrence R. and Barbara Caster and their family have been active in the development of residential, commercial office buildings, industrial parks, build-to-suits, and A-1 Self Storage Facilities. A corporate history highlighting past endeavors reveals growth, variety and depth in the projects that Mr. Caster has developed.

Mr. Caster and his wife Barbara, have been happily married for 53 years. They have eight children, 39 grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to their business interests, the Casters have been involved for the past 40 years in charity work that focuses on feeding and helping the needy in Northern Mexico and Southern California.

Mr. Caster was the Founder and Charter president of the Stadium Optimist Club. He was also the Foundation and President of the Stadium Toastmaster Club. In 1984, Mr. Caster helped organize the Mission Valley East Rotary Club and is a charter member. In 1993, Mr. Caster received Rotary International's highest honor, the "Service Above Self" award for his ongoing work in Mexico. Mr. Caster is a member of the Council on Foundations and FADICA.

In October of 1982, Mr. Caster formed Serving Hands International, a public, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation (EIN 95-3797996), that provides funds to help the poor. Through the accumulation of monies contributed by family members and friends, Serving Hands International has been able to provide weekly donations to the poor as well as a major distribution each year at Christmas.
